SeawallTerms of Use
Seawall is a free app from Cohen Apps (Israel) that blocks apps and websites you choose, on your own phone. These terms are short because the app is simple: it runs on your device, has no account and collects no data. By installing or using Seawall you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who can use Seawall
Seawall is for adults managing their own device. You must be 18 or older. It is not a parental-control product and is not designed for children.
2. What Seawall is, and is not
Seawall is a self-control tool. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional help. If you are struggling, talk to a doctor, a therapist or someone you trust. The breathing screen and the tips in the app are general suggestions, not medical advice.
3. No blocking is complete
Seawall blocks what it can detect, using a built-in list and the rules you add. No filter catches everything: new sites appear every day, a browser or system update can change how blocking works, and some content lives inside apps rather than on websites. A determined person with a computer and developer tools can remove any app from a phone. Seawall is a fence, not a prison. You remain responsible for how you use your device.
4. The lock code and your partner
You choose whether to set a lock code and whether to give it to someone else. Cohen Apps never knows your code and cannot recover, reset or bypass it. If you lose the code, protection can be released without it after a 24-hour waiting period, started from inside the app. The arrangement between you and the person holding your code is yours alone; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for what either of you does with it.
5. System features Seawall uses
On Android, Seawall uses the Accessibility Service to see which app is open and which web address your browser shows and, while locked, to keep the Settings pages that would turn it off from being used. On iPhone, Seawall uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) with your own approval; Apple applies the blocks and Seawall never sees what you open. You enable these features yourself and can turn them off from your phone's settings, subject to the lock you chose. Seawall is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities.
6. Privacy
Seawall collects no personal data and has no internet access. The Privacy policy is part of these terms.
7. Licence
Cohen Apps grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Seawall on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, sell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app, use it to break the law, or install it on someone else's device without their consent. On iPhone, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also governs your download from the App Store; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service govern your download from Google Play. Seawall, its name and its logo belong to Cohen Apps.
8. Changes and updates
We may update the app and these terms. The current terms are always published at this address with their effective date. Continuing to use Seawall after a change means you accept it. We may stop offering the app at any time.
9. No warranty
Seawall is free and is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will block any particular app, site or content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cohen Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from content that was not blocked, from a block that was applied by mistake, or from a lost lock code. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Seawall and 100 ILS. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Jerusalem have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
